Identity and print design for a Nikkei restaurant in the heart of Mexico’s wine country.

Inti brings peruvian flair to one of Mexico's best know gastronomic hubs. This high-end Nikkei restaurant is located in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California. Inti is inspired by the ancient Inca forms, the land and the ingredients. Inti offers an upscale rustic environment that really puts the vivid cuisine front and center. Inti targets middle to upper income "foodies", ages 25 to 55.

Ancient Incan forms, reimagined.

Borrowing it's namesake from the Incan sun god, Inti uses the common silhouette found in many incan ruins as inspiration for the "n" creating a strong foundation for the rest of the wordmark to be built around.

When people make old recipes with foreign and unfamiliar ingredients, the outlines of rich new cuisines can begin to take shape.
